Starfruit
This project was a fun experiment using different illustration techniques to represent this peculiarly shaped fruit. The result were three different Starfruits, the first one illustrated with simple shapes made in Adobe Illustrator, the second with textures and shadows made in Photoshop and the last one, my favourite, made using magazine clippings. The animation was made trying to reproduce a somersault while alternating the illustrations, ending with a fake 3D movement to reveal the profile cut fruit.
